Your privacy
AviaQuest stores the data needed to run your account and the birding records you choose to save. Community discovery sharing is off by default, and shared map locations are coarsened server-side. Read our Privacy Policy to learn more.

By using AviaQuest, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
You agree not to:
AviaQuest is committed to responsible birding. You must comply with the wildlife protection rules that apply where you are birding, including restrictions around nests, protected species, access and disturbance. In the UK this includes relevant protections under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981; when birding in Portugal or elsewhere, you are responsible for following the applicable national and European rules.
You retain ownership of photos and notes you upload. By sharing them publicly, you grant AviaQuest a licence to display them within the app. We will never sell your content to third parties.
Bird identification results are provided by AI models and are not guaranteed to be accurate. AviaQuest is a tool to assist birders — always apply your own judgement. Never base wildlife reporting decisions solely on AI identification.
AviaQuest is provided on a reasonable-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for any loss of data or inconvenience caused by downtime.
We may update these terms. Continued use of AviaQuest after updates constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated through the app.
